Cobalto Studio Webdesign - Giving a new look!
For Cobalto Studio, the need for a new look for their website came forth when they decided to shift their target audience to a more high-end one. Instead of following the path of a bigger production of smaller pieces to compensate for the costs, they started to feel the need to focus more on their inspirations and create more elaborate ceramic works. The duo also wants to dedicate further to exclusive make-to-order pieces, so in general, each and every piece will have an added special and unique touch.
To reflect this new vision, the biggest step was to update the existing website so it would match their current objective. Whereas before the website was more simple and to the point, the new one had to appeal to a different audience and therefore present a more sophisticated, clean, and modern overall appearance, which I believe was achieved.

For the new look, I intended to have the ‘cobalt’ color have more presence throughout the website, especially on the homepage. In conjunction with it, instead of the crisp white, I used a cream color with a blue undertone, to have a more harmonious contrast, and frame the elements more delicately, while matching the color of the ceramics themselves.
